On October 16, 2019, the opening ceremony of the “Belarusian Research Institute of Gansu Province” was held on the Heping campus of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy and the First Secretary of the Republic of Belarus to China Alexander Podkovyrov. The opening ceremony was hosted by Xu Hongwei, deputy head of the Gansu Provincial Department of Education. As a part of educational activities, students, together with teachers, visited the Central Asian Commercial Institute, Hexi University, the Exhibition Center of the Art Institute, Dunhuang, Mogao Caves, Minshashan Dunes, which are part of the desert system Gobi mountains, Danxia mountains, Zhangye city, etc.
